Professional Home Health Services is Hiring a Home Health Aide Near Kendall, FL

Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Responsibilities: - Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Provide assistance with tube feeding and catheter care, if necessary - Assist with mobility and transfers - Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe living environment - Document client progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Requirements: - Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures - Familiarity with nursing home or home care systems is a plus - Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals - Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Compassionate, patient, and reliable Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.99 - $15.00 per hour
